Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 500 g chicken tenders or breasts (cut into strips)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred) Panko breadcrumbs are recommended for a crunchier texture.
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
For the Sauce
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
For Garnish
  • Green onions or sesame seeds For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Coat the chicken strips in flour.
  2. Dip them into the beaten eggs.
  3. Coat them with breadcrumbs.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Place the coated chicken strips in the air fryer basket.
  3. Cook for 12-15 minutes, turning halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
  4. While the chicken is cooking, melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  6. Stir in the honey and soy sauce, mixing well.
  7. Once the chicken is done, toss it in the honey garlic sauce until fully coated.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately, garnished with green onions or sesame seeds.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the honey, soy sauce, and garlic mixture for at least 30 minutes before cooking. You can experiment with the spice level by adding red pepper flakes to the sauce or breadcrumbs. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer; cook in batches if necessary.
