  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon powder For rolling and flavoring the churros.
  • 1 cup Plain flour Main ingredient for the churro dough.
  • 1 tsp Salt Balances sweetness.
  • 2 tbsp Sugar In the dough.
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence Enhances the flavor.
  • 1/3 cup Unsalted butter Adds richness to the dough.
  • 1 cup Water Used to cook the dough.
Coating
  • 1 cup White sugar For rolling the churros.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and butter over medium heat and stir until the butter melts.
  2. Add flour, salt, and cinnamon, and stir until the mixture forms a ball.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
  4. Stir in the egg and vanilla essence until smooth.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Use a piping bag to pipe small rounds of dough into the air fryer.
Cooking
  1. Cook for about 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy.
  2. In a bowl, mix white sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Roll the churro bites in the sugar mixture before serving.

Notes

Serve with chocolate sauce, caramel dip, or alongside fresh fruits. Store in an airtight container for up to two days, or freeze for up to a month.
