  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  4. Gently fold in the diced apples until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Using a spoon, carefully drop spoonfuls of the batter into the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  3. Lightly spray the top of the fritters with cooking spray.
  4. Air fry them for about 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  5. Once done, remove them and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These fritters can be enjoyed dusted with powdered sugar or served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days or freeze for up to a month.
