Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound chicken breast tenders
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • Optional: a pinch of cayenne pepper for added kick

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Add a pinch of cayenne for heat if desired.
  3. Add the chicken tenders to the bowl, ensuring they are thoroughly coated in the honey-garlic mixture. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.
  4. Roll each tender in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  5. Place the tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd.
Cooking
  1. Air fry the chicken tenders for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
  2. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  3. Remove the chicken tenders from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with a crisp garden salad, creamy coleslaw, or seasoned fries. For dipping, consider ranch or barbecue sauce. Storage: Keep leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days. Reheat in the air fryer at 370°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
