- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Add a pinch of cayenne for heat if desired.
- Add the chicken tenders to the bowl, ensuring they are thoroughly coated in the honey-garlic mixture. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.
- Roll each tender in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
- Place the tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd.
Cooking
- Air fry the chicken tenders for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove the chicken tenders from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve with a crisp garden salad, creamy coleslaw, or seasoned fries. For dipping, consider ranch or barbecue sauce. Storage: Keep leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days. Reheat in the air fryer at 370°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
