  • 1 large Egg Can be substituted with a vegan alternative.
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes Use for coating the apple rings.
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 3 tbsp Sugar Can be replaced with honey or maple syrup.
  • 1 spray Cooking spray To prevent sticking in the air fryer.
  • 1/2 cup Milk For dipping the apple rings.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Core and slice the apples into rings, removing the seeds.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the cinnamon, sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Dip each apple ring into the milk, then coat with all-purpose flour.
  5. Dip the floured apple rings into the egg mixture, then roll in breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes.
  6. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  7. Arrange the coated apple rings in a single layer inside the air fryer basket.
  8. Air fry for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy your delectable creation!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer to restore crunchiness. Uncooked, coated apple rings can be frozen; separate with parchment paper.
