Ingredients

Dough and Fillings
  • 1 package Pizza dough (homemade or store-bought) You can use pre-made pizza dough to save time.
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese Or any melting cheese of your choice.
  • 1/2 cup Pepperoni Or any favorite filling.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For brushing.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning For added flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface and cut it into 5–6-inch circles.
  3. On one half of each circle, place a generous amount of mozzarella cheese and a few slices of pepperoni, leaving a small border around the edge.
  4. Fold the dough over to form a half-moon shape and press to seal the edges. Use a fork to crimp the edges for a decorative touch.
  5. Lightly brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  6. Arrange the calzones in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they aren’t touching.
  7. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the calzones turn golden brown and crispy.
  8. Serve hot, and enjoy each delightful bite.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C). You can freeze uncooked calzones; just add a few extra minutes to the cooking time when baking from frozen. Consider using parchment paper in the air fryer basket for easier cleanup.
