For the Marinade
  • 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce Can substitute with low-sodium teriyaki sauce.
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar Can substitute with honey or maple syrup.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken thighs Can substitute with bone-in thighs; adjust cooking time.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine garlic powder, soy sauce, black pepper, brown sugar, paprika, salt, and olive oil.
  3. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl, ensuring they are well-coated in the marinade.
Cooking
  1. Place the marinated chicken thighs in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  2. Cook for 18-22 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and has a beautiful golden color.
Serving
  1. Remove from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. To reheat, place in the air fryer for 5-7 minutes. For freezing, cool completely before placing in a freezer-safe bag.
