  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

  • as needed Cooking spray To prevent sticking in the air fryer.

Method

Preparation
  1. Cut the zucchinis into fry-shaped pieces, aiming for uniform sizes for even cooking.
  2. In a bowl, toss the zucchini fries with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  2. Arrange the zucchini fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they’re not overcrowded for optimal crispiness.
  3. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
  4. Once they are golden and crispy, remove from the air fryer, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, dry the zucchini pieces with a paper towel after cutting to avoid excess moisture. You can experiment with flavors by adding spices like paprika or cayenne. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
